To All OAPPA Institute Members:

APPA's Institute for Facilities Management is designed with two goals in mind:  to educate mid-level facilities managers in four core areas and to instil in them the vision and leadership abilities they need to responsibly guide their institution’s facilities programs.

 The OAPPA Chapter offers a maximum of three scholarships per year to qualified members.  The scholarship offers to assist the institution by paying $1000 towards the cost of the tuition fees -- travel and lodging expenses are not included and are to be paid by the member’s institution.

 Enclosed is an application form that should be returned to me.  Please note the six requirements listed under Scholarship Criteria and be sure to completely fill-out the application form.  Applicants will be notified of their status after the next OAPPA quarterly meeting.

Scholarship Application – APPA Institute

  Scholarship Criteria:

1. Institution must be in good standing (dues paid) with APPA, ERAPPA and OAPPA.
2. Applicant must be an active participating member of the institution with good leadership qualities.
3. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience in facilities management.
4. Scholarship awardee must provide a verbal or written report to OAPPA following 
   attendance at the Institute.
5. A supervisor’s or nominator’s endorsement must accompany the application.
6. Applicant’s institution agrees to pay all remaining costs to attend the Institution.
